In the pre-trial phase of the criminal proceedings thr Request for information or documents shall be received by the competent district prosecution office, while at the trial phase it shall be submitted to the competent district court.
Request can be received for the purpose of data transfer that is relevant to the criminal proceedings and is in the possession of the organisation, of the electronic data or documents transfer that are relevant to the criminal proceedings and are in the possession of the organisation, or of providing information relevant to the criminal proceedings that can be provided by the organization.
Any organ, legal person, or other organisation without a legal personality may be requested to provide data. A data request may also be aimed at receiving data processed in a register of the State or a local government. Electronic communications service provider, a postal service provider or an organisation processing data constituting bank, payment, securities, fund or insurance secret, or an organisation processing health data and related personal data may be requested to provide such data.
Under Request data can be requested from registers available for national authorities.
