Is this measure possible in your Member State under International Judicial Cooperation?

In case a judicial document has to be served in person in compliance with the law of the requesting state, the document can be send to the competent authority in the Netherlands (IRC, see Atlas). In all other situations the document has to be send to the addressee directly.

The competent authorities are the regional International Legal Assistance Centres (the IRCs) and the National Legal Assistance Centre (LIRC).

Special requirements

The Dutch procedure of the service of judicial documents (service by post) will be leading unless the requesting state has required to follow a special procedure and this procedure will not conflict with the Dutch law.
