Is this measure possible in your Member State under International Judicial Cooperation?

The certificate should be sent to the district court according to the place of residence. The court shall decide to refuse the recognition and execution of a decision on supervision measures if a) the certificate issued by the judicial authority of the issuing State is incomplete or obviously does not correspond to the decision on supervision measures and is not duly completed at the request of the court within the set time limit; b) the person concerned has not been informed about the supervision measures imposed by the judicial authority of the issuing State, or if he/she does not consent to his/her return to the Slovak Republic, or if the certificate issued by the judicial authority of the issuing State contains supervision measures that are not included in Section 3(1), nor have they been notified by the Slovak Republic pursuant to Section 3(2); c) a final decision on supervision measures has already been issued against the person concerned by a Slovak court for the same act, or if the court has the information at its disposal that a final decision on supervision measures has already been issued against the person concerned for the same act by a judicial authority in another Member State; d) the act for which the decision on supervision measures has been issued does not constitute a criminal offence under the law of the Slovak Republic and does not involve offences referred to in Section 4(2) through (4); with respect to taxes, duties, customs or currency, the execution of the decision on supervision measures may not be refused solely on the grounds that the law of the Slovak Republic does not govern the same type of taxes or customs or does not contain the same provision on taxes, duties, customs or currency as the law of the issuing State, e) the criminal prosecution is statute-barred under the law of the Slovak Republic and the act for which the decision on supervision measures has been issued falls under the jurisdiction of Slovak authorities under the law of the Slovak Republic; f) the person concerned is exempt from the jurisdiction of law enforcement authorities and court; 6 ) g) under the law of the Slovak Republic, the person concerned cannot be, because of his/her age, held criminally responsible for the act for which the decision on supervision measures has been issued; h) in the case of breach of the supervision measures, it would be impossible to surrender the person concerned in accordance with a procedure under a separate regulation.

The competent authority of the Slovak Republic for the recognition and execution of a decision issued by another Member State is the district court in whose area of jurisdiction the sentenced person ordinarily resides. Otherwise, the competent court is the Municipal Court Bratislava I.

Certificates forwarded to the Slovak judicial authorities must be drawn up in Slovak. In relation with the Czech Republic may be used Czech language.

Execution deadline

Deadlines for the execution of the request/decision (where applicable)

The court executes within 20 working days after receiving the certificate and decisions. In case of an appeal, the court decides within 20 working days from its submission.
