Is this measure possible in your Member State under International Judicial Cooperation?

This measure falls within the framework of Police cooperation (the purpose of the measure is not gathering of evidence). The national Police authorities have to be notified immediately, generally even before the crossing. The hot pursuit must be terminated if the national Police authorities so request.

Special requirements

The foreign Police officers may carry out hot pursuit on the territory of the Slovak Republic solely in accordance with the terms and conditions set by relevant international treaties and bilateral treaties. They are obliged to comply with the law of the Slovak Republic.
