Is this measure possible in your Member State under International Judicial Cooperation?

Yes, it is possible. Spontaneous exchange of information may be executed by the Slovak authorities pursuant to provisions of international treaties binding upon the Slovak Republic, which regulate such measure.

E. g. the Convention on Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters between the Member States of the European Union of May 29, 2000 (Article 7). Article 11 of the Second Additional Protocol to the European Convention on mutual assistance in criminal matters (8 November 2001). Article 10 of the Convention on Laundering, Search, Seizure and Confiscation of the Proceeds from Crime (November 8, 1990).

Special requirements

The Slovak Republic made a declaration pursuant to Article 11, par. 4, of the Second Additional Protocol that it reserves its right not to be bound by the conditions imposed by the providing Party unless it receives prior notice of the nature of the information to be provided and agrees to its transmission.
