Measure Implementation

Is this measure possible in your Member State under International Judicial Cooperation?

It is not the policy of An Garda Síochána (Irish Police Force) to permit law enforcement officers from other jurisdictions to cross the land border into Ireland for the purpose of observation. Law enforcement officers from another jurisdiction may, with prior authorisation, be present in an advisory capacity. Joint investigation teams may be established for the purpose of investigating an offence or suspected offence which has links with Ireland and with one or more other member states. Foreign law enforcement officers may participate in a joint investigation team.
