Is this measure possible in your Member State under International Judicial Cooperation?

Summon a witness to the District court to be questioned under oath. It is also possible to have an interview by the police on a voluntary basis. The specific wording of the caution required by the requesting state can be used. In either instance the witness cannot be compelled to answer questions. Section 63 of the Criminal Justice Mutual Assistance Act 2008 sets out the standard procedure for hearing witnesses in the State and taking their evidence for use in proceedings in another country.
