Measure Implementation

Is this measure possible in your Member State under International Judicial Cooperation?

This measure is possible only within the framework of Police cooperation, not within International Judicial Cooperation (the measure is not about gathering of evidence but an arrest of a person). It allows foreign Police authorities to continue pursuing a perpetrator who crossed the Slovenian state borders. The foreign authority must immediately inform Slovenian authorities after crossing the border and terminate the pursuit immediately after being instructed to do so by Slovenian authorities. European Arrest Warrant must be sent immediately after apprehending the pursued person Foreign police can cross-border pursuit a suspect or a vehicle but has to notify the Slovenian police and the foreign police cannot apprehend the suspect or the vehicle without the Slovenian police.
