Person directing criminal proceedings is entitled to request in a written form from physical and legal entities objects and documents relevant to a criminal proceedings. If physical and legal persons do not submit requested objects and documents in the term provided, the person directing criminal proceedings executes search or seizure. Heads of legal entities upon request have the duty within the scope of their competence to execute documentary auditing, inventory, official examination and submit the documents within the set term.

Section 848. Deciding of a Request of a Foreign State (1) A request of a foreign state regarding the provision of assistance in the performance of a procedural action shall be decided immediately, but not later than within 10 days after receipt thereof. If additional information is necessary for deciding of a request, such information shall be requested from the state that submitted the request.
