Interception of mail packages, other packages or telegrams may be intercepted according to Section 88 or Section 86 or 158d para 3 of Code of Criminal Procedure based on an order of the presiding judge (in trial proceedings) or public prosecutor (in pre-trial proceedings). After the order is issued, the package may be opened according to Section 87 of Criminal Code by the presiding judge (in trial proceedings) or public prosecutor / police authority with the consent of a judge (in pre-trial proceedings).
