The Presidency of the European Judicial Network (EJN) is assumed by the Member State holding the rotating Presidency of the Justice and Home Affairs (JHA) configuration of the Council, hereinafter “the Presidency”. The Presidency shall work in close cooperation and coordination with the former Presidency and the two incoming Presidencies, hereinafter “The EJN Presidency Board”. The composition of the EJN Presidency Board changes every sixth month, with the former Presidency leaving and the next incoming Presidency in line joining the Board.

The EJN Presidency Board and the EJN Secretariat meet regularly at least in connection to each of the EJN Plenary meetings and the meetings of National Correspondents. The purpose of the meetings is to plan the EJN activities and projects including the agenda of the EJN meetings. Once a year the EJN Presidency Board and the EJN Secretariat meet with the Eurojust Presidency Team and the Administrative Director of Eurojust to discuss common interests or matters related to both structures.
