On 10 of December, the European Parliament and the Council reached a political agreement on the Commission proposal for a revision of the Victims’ Rights Directive.This is not a formal adoption but a provisional agreement. The adoption of the political agreement on the revised
Directive is to follow and will be a step forward in improving victims’ rights in the European Union.
