On 1st February 2024, the EJN Secretariat and the WBCJ Project, organized a Joint meeting for the EJN CPs in the Western Balkans and the WBCJ Contact Group Members. The meeting was hosted by the Austrian Ministry of Justice, the EJN National Correspondent for Austria and the Eurojust National Member for Austria. More than 40 participants took part in the meeting.
The meeting gave the opportunity for the judicial practitioners from the Western Balkans region to exchange information on the cooperation on cross-border cases as well as the respective roles of EJN, Eurojust and WBCJ Project in supporting the national authorities with their investigations. The EJN Secretariat provided information on the resources available on the EJN website and the planned future developments.
