This year, four seminars "EAW and MLA simulations" will be organised, in accordance with the following schedule: Thessaloniki, Greece, 9-11 March (participating countries: Greece, Hungary and France); Madrid, Spain, 13-15 April (participating countries: Spain, Netherlands, Portugal); Riga, Latvia, 14-16 September (participating countries: Latvia, Romania, Italy); Lublin, Poland, 14-16 November (participating countries: Poland, Bulgaria, Sweden).

Organised within the Criminal Justice 1 Project of the EJTN - International judicial cooperation in criminal matters, these seminars have the added value of bringing together judges and prosecutors from three participating countries in each seminar, simulating the issuing and execution of EAW and, respectively mutual legal assistance requests, under the guidance of EJTN experts. In addition, the roles of the European Judicial Network (EJN) and Eurojust are presented.

On the basis of the Memorandum of Understanding concluded in June 2014 and in accordance with the established cooperation between the EJN and the EJTN Secretariats, a volunteer EJN Contact Point is representing the EJN in each seminar, delivering a general presentation on the organisation and functioning of the Network.
