Regulation 2016/95 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 January 2016 repealing certain acts in the field of police cooperation and judicial cooperation in criminal matters was published in the Official Journal of the European Union 2 February 2016 (OJ L 26, 2.2.2016, p. 9–12). The Regulation entered into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal.
According to Article 2 of the Regulation, any EEW executed under Framework Decision 2008/978/JHA will continue to be governed by that Framework Decision until the relevant criminal proceedings have been concluded with a definitive decision.
