On 28 August 2017 the EJN Secretariat launched a new public EIO area  on the EJN website, dedicated to the practical application of the Directive 2014/41/EU regarding the European Investigation Order in criminal matters (EIO Directive).

This new EIO area is a quick entry point to the most relevant information and tools regarding the practical application of the EIO Directive, of interest for all practitioners on judicial cooperation in criminal matters, as well as for a wider public. In parallel, information and documents which can be shared only with judicial and law enforcement authorities remain available in the EJN Contact Points restricted area, within the section "Info to Contact Points".
