On March 18 th 2021 the EJN held the 42 nd EJN Regular meeting under the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the EU. Due to the ongoing pandemic of COVID-19, the meeting took place online. Approximately 60 EJN Contact Points took part in the meeting and discussed their recent experience and developments in judicial cooperation in times of pandemic as well as the cooperation with the UK after Brexit.
During the meeting, the Portuguese Presidency and the Secretary to the EJN presented the final report of the EJN Peer Evaluations exercise that was conducted in 2020 with the active participation of the EJN Contact Points.
Among the other topics of discussion were the ongoing projects on EAW, the EJN Secure Connection, the EJN website redesign and the EJN Activity Report 2019-2020.
