Measure Implementation

Is this measure possible in your Member State under International Judicial Cooperation?

Instruments, proceeds or advantages related to the commission of a crime are seized, as well as all things or objects that have been left by the suspect at the scene of the crime or any other goods that may serve as evidence. Seizures carried out by the criminal police are subject to validation by the judicial authority, within a maximum period of seventy-two hours. When it is no longer necessary to hold the seized assets as evidence or other purpose (for exemple, if the goods won’t be later confiscated), they can be returned to the owner.
