With the support and the presence of the EJN Secretariat, a meeting of the Portuguese Contact Points, with a representative from EUROJUST and the presence of national Portuguese Prosecutors took place in Lisboa, at the headquarters of the Prosecutor General’s Office, on October 9th and 10th 2025.

In the framework of the 37th SEEPAG Conference held on 16 of October 2025 in Chisinau, Moldova, under the Moldovan Chairmanship of SEEPAG, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was concluded between the EJN and SEEPAG and Southeast European Law Enforcement Centre (SELEC).

The European Judicial Training Network (EJTN) has released its 2026 Catalogue of Training Activities, presenting a comprehensive overview of upcoming learning and exchange opportunities for judges, prosecutors, and legal practitioners.

On 9 October, the 17th National Correspondents’ Meeting of the EJN was organised at the Eurojust premises.

Two new infographics on the use of the European Production Order Certificate (EPOC) and the European Preservation Order Certificate (EPOC-PR) have been uploaded to the E-Evidence dedicated area and the Electronic Evidence section of the Judicial Library on the EJN website.

The National Office for the Judiciary organised a Regional Meeting of the European Judicial Network in Balatonszemes, Hungary, between 1 and 3 October 2025. The meeting was attended by National Contact Points, judges and prosecutors from Hungary, Slovenia, Austria, Croatia, and Serbia.

The National meeting of the Finnish EJN Contact Points was organised partially onboard a ferry (Day 1) and partially at the City Public Prosecution Office, in Stockholm, Sweden (Day 2).

On 18 September 2025, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Lithuania, in cooperation with the EJN Secretariat, organised a national meeting of EJN Contact Points in Vilnius under the theme “The Role of the EJN in Legal Cooperation: Turning Awareness into Action.”

On 18 September 2025, the EJN Secretariat received at Eurojust and online the newly appointed EJN Contact Points in view of preparing them in-dept for their new role.

From the 17 to 19 September 2025, the EJN Regional Meeting of the Slovenian authorities took place in Novo Mesto. The meeting was chaired by Ms. Marjeta Švab Širok, Deputy Chief Justice, Supreme Court Judge and National Correspondent for EJN in Slovenia.

On 16 and 17 September 2025, Belgian colleagues invited Spanish colleagues to their national EJN meeting, thanks to an EJN grant and the Belgian Institute for Judicial Training.

With the participation of the EJN Contact Points of Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Austria, Germany and Poland, the EJN Czech Regional meeting took place in Prague on 16 September 2025.

On 10–11 September 2025, the European Judicial Network Secretariat participated in the Expert Workshop organised by the Confederation of European Probation (CEP) in Brussels which focused on enhancing the implementation of Framework Decision 2008/947/JHA and Framework Decision 2009/829/JHA.

On 6 June 2025, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Latvia, with the support of the EJN Secretariat, hosted the fourth EJN Regional Contact Point meeting in Riga. The event focused on "Current Challenges in the Application of the Mutual Recognition Principle in Financial Penalties and Probation Measures: Assessing the Effectiveness of Decentralization in Latvia."
