The European Judicial Network in civil and commercial matters (EJN-civil), established in May 2001, is dedicated at enhancing transnational judicial cooperation in civil and commercial matters across the EU. It does so by establishing direct contacts between the national judicial authorities across Member States. The network consists of more than 500 contact points.
