With the participation of the EJN Contact Points of Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Austria, Germany and Poland, the EJN Czech Regional meeting took place in Prague on 16 September 2025.
The participants were welcomed by Ms. Petra Otevřelová, the EJN National Correspondent, from the International Department for Cooperation in Criminal Matters of the Ministry of Justice, and received an update from the EJN Secretariat on ongoing projects relevant to the Network, such as the participation of the EJN as observer in the 11th Round of Mutual Evaluations as well as the developments of the EJN website.
The meeting covered two substantive topics: 1/ cross-border surveillance of vehicles chaired by Ms. Světlana Kloučková, Director of International Department of the Supreme Public Prosecutor´s Office; and 2/ the consequences of the CJEU Judgement C-548/21 of 4 October 2024 (“the Landeck case”) on seizure of electronic devices for the purpose of data extraction during searches chaired by Mr. Jan Provazník, Director of Department of the Review Proceedings of the Supreme Public Prosecutor´s Office.
The findings and conclusions from the meeting will be published shortly on the EJN website.
