On 10–11 September 2025, the European Judicial Network Secretariat participated in the Expert Workshop organised by the Confederation of European Probation (CEP) in Brussels which focused on enhancing the implementation of Framework Decision 2008/947/JHA and Framework Decision 2009/829/JHA.
The workshop brought together experts, practitioners and stakeholders from across the EU to exchange experiences, discuss practical challenges, and consider ways to strengthen the application of these instruments in practice.
The EJN Secretariat contributed to the discussions by highlighting the role of the EJN in supporting judicial authorities with practical tools and facilitating cross-border cooperation in criminal matters.
This event underlined the value of continued dialogue and cooperation between judicial and probation authorities across Member States. The EJN remains committed to supporting practitioners and working closely with partners to advance the implementation of EU criminal justice instruments.
