3. COMPETENT AUTHORITY TO: |
* receive the request/decision for judicial cooperation | In the pre-trial phase of the criminal proceedings the request for mutual legal assistance shall be received by the district prosecution office, while at the trial phase it shall be submitted to the competent district court.
According to the Paragraph (1) of Section 7 of Council Framework Decision 2009/315/JHA of 26 February 2009, a request may be submitted directly to the central authority of the requested state. In Hungary, it is the Central Office for Administrative and Electronic Public Services.
According to the Declaration of Hungary concerning the Convention on Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters between the Member States of the European Union in accordance with Subsection (8) of Article 6 the Prosecutor General receives and presents requests for information concerning convictions.

4. ACCEPTED LANGUAGES |
Accepted languages for the request/decision | A translation of the request for assistance and documents annexed thereto into either Hungarian, or any of the official languages of the Council of Europe, will be required, if they are not drawn up in these languages. |
5. EXECUTION DEADLINE |
Deadlines for the execution of the request/decision (where applicable) | According to the Framework Decision 2009/315/JHA of 26 February 2009, the request shall be executed by the Central Office for Administrative and Electronic Public Services within ten working days from the date the request was received. |
