Is this measure possible in your Member State under International Judicial Cooperation?

Yes. Although the measure is not regulated in Swedish Law, the definition of controlled delivery in Article 1 (g) of the UN Convention Against Illicit Traffic in Drugs and Psychotropic Substances of 1988 is applied.

International legal framework applicable for this measure in your Member State

The European Convention on Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters from 1959 and The Convention on Mutual Asistance in Criminal Matters between the Member States of the European Union of 29 May 2000.

3. COMPETENT AUTHORITY TO:

Competent authorities will be one of the three International Public Prosecution Offices-Stockholm, Gothenburg or Malmoe- depending on where the messure will take place or a suspect is residing . There are no rules of means of communication; that is, an MLA can be transferred by letter, fax, or e-mail.

An MLA should be written in Swedish, Norwegian or Danish or in any other language the recieving authority accepts (in practice that is English).
