Is this measure possible in your Member State under International Judicial Cooperation?

Yes. The measure is covered by Articles 18-22 of the Emergency Governmental Ordinance no. 103/2006 on some measures for the facilitating the international police cooperation.

Requests and annexed documents shall be accompanied by a translation into Romanian or into either English or French. Reciprocity may apply This is without prejudice to the provisions concerning the translation of requests or annexed documents contained in the agreements or arrangements in force or to be made between Romania and requesting state.

Requests for assistance shall be made in writing and include the following elements : a) the authority making the request a; b) the object and purpose of the application and use of the information; c) data of the persons involved , according to the documents mentioned in their national or international identity , if known ; d ) the emergency and the level of classification; e) description of the offense committed; f ) case officer (s) and their coordinates.
