International legal framework applicable for this measure in your Member State

This measure can, in particular, be requested on the basis of the Convention on Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters between the Member States of the European Union of 29 May 2000 (article 5).

* receive the request/decision for judicial cooperation

For the States parties to the MLA Convention of 29 May 2000, the documents, accompanied by the request, are either served directly by post on the person concerned or sent to the public prosecutor who has territorial jurisdiction, in accordance with the provisions of article 5.
