Is this measure possible in your Member State under International Judicial Cooperation? | Yes. The police may turn over information in their personal data register to foreign authorities whose task it is e.g. to prevent, investigate or prosecute crimes, where the information is necessary to carry out those tasks. Customs authorities may turn over information in their personal data files to other foreign customs authorities for the purposes of preventing, investigating and prosecuting an offence. Data may also be conveyed to other foreign authorities for the same purposes, when the offence could lead to imprisonment had it been committed in Finland. |
