Yes. The inspecting and copying of individual criminal files is allowed to all with a legitimate interest in so doing.

Convention of 29 May 2000 on Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters between the Member States of the European Union; European Convention on Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters with Additional Protocols; Schengen Convention, Bilateral Agreements.

3. COMPETENT AUTHORITY TO:

During the proceedings, permission for inspecting and copying the files is issued by the body before which the proceedings are conducted, and after the proceedings are concluded, the permission is issued by the president of the court or the officer authorised by him. If the files are with the public prosecutor, the permission for their inspecting and copying is issued by the public prosecutor.
