Is this measure possible in your Member State under International Judicial Cooperation? | Regulated in Chapter 11 in the Criminal Procedure Act. As a rule experts are appointed by the court after the parties have been given the possibility to express their views. As a rule the experts shall submit a written report either jointly or individually. Their report must be sent to a commission of forensic medicine who evaluates the report. The experts shall be examined according to the rules applicable to witnesses, but they may be present during the proceedings. The experts may put questions to the parties, witnesses and other experts. |
