1. MEASURE IMPLEMENTATION

Is this measure possible in your Member State under International Judicial Cooperation?

Yes, A Joint Investigation Team (‘JIT’) is an investigation team set up for a set period, based on an agreement between two or more States and/or competent authorities, for a specific purpose. A JIT allows team members from different countries to share information without the need for a formal letter of request, and is therefore an alternative to MLA. Such requests can be commenced through police co-operation.
