Is this measure possible in your Member State under International Judicial Cooperation?

Yes. An expert is an independent specialist in a particular area who with his professional knowledge and experience helps to clarify questions respecting facts material to the decision in a particular criminal case. An expert is appointed by a written order in which his assignment is described. An appointed expert is bound to submit his expert opinion.

According to national legislation, state prosecutor, injured party, accused person and defence counsel may be present when hearing an expert. Representatives of requesting state may be present if they are in the same function, if an international treaty does not provide otherwise. Representative of the authority competent for carrying out the hearing in the requesting country may also be present.
