6. CONCISE LEGAL PRACTICAL INFORMATION |
a. Special requirements | The request must be necessary and proportionate in relation to what is sought to be achieved by it being carried out. It will be carried out for the for the purpose of preventing or detecting crime or of preventing disorder.
Covert investigations shall take place in accordance with the national law and procedures of the Member States on the territory of which the covert investigation takes place. The Member States involved shall cooperate to ensure that the covert investigation is prepared and supervised and to make arrangements for the security of the officers acting under covert or false identity.
Dual criminality will be applied.
